Moriah Rodriguez, (b. 1994, M.A.) is a Motion and Visual Experience Designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She works across disciplines from screens to spaces. Moriah has experience working on experiences & environments, culture, art, and historical exhibitions. She believes as creatives we should make work that adds to the world, educating and sparking interest in otherwise hard to discuss issues. Whether it’s design, food, music, or a public garden, she’s inspired by work that has purpose and feeds people mentally and emotionally. Moriah is especially fired up about research driven work, focused on interdisciplinary possibilities for design and storytelling. The goal is always to produce in a highly conceptual and technically demanding way.
Moriah holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Design. As a designer, her handiwork can be seen in museums across the globe; National Urban League, N.Y. Erie Canal Museum, N. Y. National Public Housing Museum, C.H. The Columbus Museum, O.H. The Louisiana Civil Rights Museum, L.A. Intercorp Headquarters, P.E. Le Visionnaire Heritage and Innovation Center, P.A.R. Her illustrations can be found on the shelves of Brooklyn bookstores and on The New Yorkers 2021 list of Best Cookbooks of the Year in the form of a collaborative Tables of Contents Community Cookbook.
